Why there are none
A cookie exists to remember something between one page and the next: that you are logged in, what is in your basket, which pages you have already seen. Here there is nothing to remember. You cannot sign up, there is nothing to buy, there are no preferences to store, and we do not count how often you come back.
The pages are built in advance and served ready-made, with no code running in your browser. Even the typefaces come from this domain rather than from Google, so your browser never knocks on anyone else's door. There are no social buttons, no advertising, no embedded videos and no analytics of any kind.
Do not take our word for it
This takes half a minute to verify. Open your browser's developer tools: F12 on Chrome and Edge, or enable the Develop menu first on Safari. Go to the Application or Storage tab and look under Cookies, at the entry for our domain. It is empty.
Then why does this page exist
Because «there are no cookies» is information, not a blank space. Anyone arriving here is entitled to know what happens behind their back, and knowing that nothing happens is worth as much as a list. It also stands as a commitment: if that ever changes, this is the page that will say so.
If that ever changes
If we add analytics, this page will list every cookie with its name, purpose and lifetime, and a banner will ask for consent before any non-essential cookie is written, with refusing made no harder than accepting. Nothing will start quietly.
When you leave
The pages link out often: European registers, product specifications, producer consortia, farm stay websites. Until you click, no request goes to any of them. The moment you do, those sites apply their own cookie rules, which are not ours to control.
What remains anyway
No cookies does not mean no data at all: the host records your IP address and the time of the request in its server logs, as every server in the world does. We describe that in full in the privacy policy.
